Description
Oukaimeden is a ski resort located in the heart of the High Atlas, about an hour’s drive from Marrakech. The resort is renowned for the quality of its equipment and snow that abounds from November to the end of March.
The resort received thousands of visitors and nature lovers and winter sports. The resort contains 3 green trails, 4 blue, 8 red, and 3 black, allows everyone to indulge in skiing or surfing. The chairlift of the station is the highest in Africa.
The excursion will allow you to discover splendid landscapes, in particular the Berber villages built on the side of mountains and which are decorated with ocher stones, and of course, you can take the opportunity and visit the villagers which are well known for their generosity and sympathy.
In the resort you can go for the discovery of rock engravings on the plateau, the lake will allows you to go fishing for trout-fish, chairlift facilitates the practice of paragliding free flight.

My experience with Exotic Lines Travels was excellent. There’s hardly anything to complain about. Our tour guide (Mohamed) was very professional and took care of us during the whole trip. Had the most amazing day with yasin in the Atlas Mountains. Day started with pick up from our hotel then travelled up into the mountains with lots of information about local area and heritage.

We had this lovely guide Abdo who took us with minibus to the mountains. We had stops for photos on amazing views. The ski area was really special, not like Europe at all but so fun to explore. unfortunately was the sit lift closed this day, maybe you should check this before to be sure If you want to go to the top. But it doesn’t matter for us because the snow and the conditions of slopes were difficult. It was a really nice adventure and we like it alot and the guide was very nice and learned us alot about Marocco. Highly recomended.
